Danger Statements

A-component (Standard, UVR) Danger:

  • Causes irritation to the skin.
  • Causes serious irritation to the eyes.
  • May trigger allergic skin reactions.
  • Toxic to aquatic life with long-lasting effects.
  • Avoid inhaling dust, fumes, gases, mists, vapors, or sprays.
  • Wear protective gloves, clothing, eye protection, and face protection.
  • Prevent release into the environment.
  • If it comes into contact with eyes, rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses if they are being worn and easy to remove. Continue rinsing.
  • Dispose of the contents and container following local, regional, national, or international regulations.

B-component (Standard, UVR) Danger:

  • Harmful if inhaled, swallowed, or in contact with the skin.
  • Causes severe burns and damage to the skin and eyes.
  • May cause allergic skin reactions.
  • Harmful and toxic to aquatic life with long-lasting effects.
  • Prevent release into the environment.
  • Avoid breathing dust, fumes, gases, mists, vapors, or sprays.

  • If it comes into contact with the skin or hair, remove/take off contaminated clothing immediately and rinse the skin with water or shower.
  • If inhaled, move the person to fresh air and ensure they can breathe comfortably.
  1. To ensure minimal material loss and prevent blistering, it is always advisable to begin with an epoxy resin primer (0.2-0.5mm layer thickness). Use a portion of the same clear epoxy resin for this purpose. Combine resin A-component with hardener B-component, following the recommended mixing ratio provided in our information table accessible through the "Learn more" button on this page.
  2. Thoroughly stir the mixture, paying attention to the edges and bottom of the mixing cup where settling may occur. For optimal results, transfer the mixture to a clean mixing cup and continue stirring until it is free of streaks. This guarantees a complete blending of the resin A-component and hardener B-component.
  3. Immediately after mixing, pour the resin-hardener mixture onto the intended surface, as leaving it in the mixing cup may cause boiling depending on the system and quantity of the substance.
  4. Apply the epoxy primer onto the desired surface using a paint roller or brush, preferably opting for polyamide rollers.
  5. Allow the primer to cure, noting that the curing time depends on factors such as temperature, layer thickness, and the specific epoxy resin system. Consult our information table, accessible through the "Learn more" button on this page, for precise details.
  6. Proceed with the main coating using the same procedure. Processing times, pouring heights, and curing times will vary depending on the chosen epoxy resin system and application. For comprehensive information, refer to our information table, accessible through the "Learn more" button on this page.

Note: Epoxy resin is sensitive to moisture during the curing process, which may result in amine blush formation, indicated by white patches on the surface. Therefore, it is crucial to avoid any contact between water and the epoxy until it has fully cured (at least 7 days). In cases of thin layers, low temperatures (ambient, substrate, and resin temperatures below 20°C), or higher humidity, the complete curing time for the epoxy resin may be extended.

Recommended thicknesses for coating floors and other surfaces:

  • For the overall coating, including the primer and main coating, it is recommended to use approximately 1.65-2.20 kg/sqm for layer thicknesses ranging from 1.5-2mm.
  • For the primer layer, an approximate amount of 0.22-0.55 kg/sqm is advised for a layer thickness of 0.2-0.5mm.
  • When applying the main layer, it is recommended to use approximately 1.10-1.65 kg/sqm for layer thicknesses of 1-1.5mm.

For the addition of color to the resin+hardener mixture, the following recommendations apply:

  • Powder pigments (Metallic, Neon, and Glow in the dark): 1.5% (15g)
  • Transparent dyes (excluding white, black, and grey): 60 drops (1.8g)
  • Transparent white, black, and grey dyes: 20 drops (0.6g) of dye
  • Semi-transparent dyes (excluding white): 40 drops (1.2g) of the desired color and 20 drops (0.6g) of white dye
  • Semi-transparent white: 60 drops (1.8g) of white dye
  • RAL solid color: 1% (10g)
  • Glitter pigments: 1% (10g)
