OWATROL DEKS OLJE D2

Non-Peel, Flexible High Gloss Yacht Varnish For Interior, Exterior Wood, Non Crack, Rich Appearance.

• Flexes and moves with the wood so will not peel, craze, flake or blister
• No sanding between coats and simple ‘touch-up’ maintenance with no stripping
• Highly transparent varnish which enhances the natural beauty of the wood
• Generally for use after Dek Olje D1 has been applied first
• Can be used in a marine environment for all applications above the water line

• Exterior : garden furniture, window  door frames, doors, gates,…

• Boats – all applications above waterline
• Over Owatrol oil to enhance rustic finish on metal

Recommendations before applying

• Wood must first be treated with Deks Olje D1 or Owatrol Oil
• Wood must be clean, dry and free of all contamination
• Do not apply Deks Olje D2 if wet weather expected
• Deks Olje D2 could be very slippery and is not suitable for use in areas where it will be walked on (i.e. decks, hardwood decking etc) – use Deks Olje D1 only for these areas
• Do not Thin

Application

• Apply multiple coats of Deks Olje D2 allowing 1 day between coats.
• Allow minimum 12 hours drying between coats
• No sanding between coats
• Allow to dry minimum 3-4 days before putting back into service
• Note: drips and runs should be wiped off immediately

Coverage : 15m²/l

Application tools : Brush - Roller

Application temperature : 8°C to +35°C

Drying : 12 hours. (between each layer)

Working time : 3 days

Clean-up : White-Spirit
