TRAC-CUT AIRLESS CUTTING IN ACCESSORY
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
This ingenious airless sprayer accessory was invented by a professional painting contractor who was frustrated with the tedious and time-consuming process of cutting in along architraves, trims, skirtings, ceilings, and more.
The Trac-Cut is a device that attaches to the airless tip base.
For walls and ceilings, it is normally used with a 3ft extension pole, attached to the tip base at the front.
The Trac-Cut is supplied with three circular plastic discs that attach in seconds.
Use each disc until it reaches its maximum paint collection capacity. Then, with a simple pull of the pin, place the disc into a bucket of water and replace it with a clean one. This process takes no more than 2 minutes.
The idea is to give the top or inside edge of the spray fan a "slight haircut", which allows the cutting-in process to be done for you.
Video: While it only shows the Trac-Cut attached directly to an airless gun and being used to spray line marking paint on grass, it still gives you an idea of what can be achieved and the impressive speed it can travel.
If you are the type of person who does not have the patience to spend around 20 minutes "learning to drive" this tool, it may not be for you.
It does take approximately half an hour to get used to it and achieve the best results.
Note: You will also require a 513 airless tip with matching yellow gun filter.
